Weekend in ND

 We recently took a road trip to ND to celebrate my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Yes, the young couple in the black have been married 60 years!! It was great to spend time with all my family. We love you and miss you all.

Last Race of the Season

It was a sunny day, a little on the cool side. Perfect weather for a triathlon. I competed in the Olympic Distance race with 20 other people. (by far smallest race I've participated in) I had a great swim, the bike was a lot hillier and harder than i had anticipated so it was a little slower, and I finished with a good run. Overall it was a good race on a good course.

Grandpa and Grandma Kratochvil came to visit. We were very busy and had a lot of fun. Wine tasting, Zoo, Watch Chris participate in a Triathlon, Historic Columbia River Hwy, Multnomah Falls, Mt Hood, Timberline Lodge, Tillamook Cheese factory, Coast, Portland Bridge Pedal, Camping at Diamond Lake, Crater lake. Unfortunately They had to go home. We were sad to see them leave and we miss them very much. Can't wait until the next time we get to spend time with them.

We spent the day at Crater Lake. The weather was beautiful. Perfect day for a drive in a very beautiful park.

I'm glad grandpa was here for this. We all had alot of fun.

After visiting the Tillamook Cheese Factory we found a spot on the beach. It was cloudy but at least it wasn't raining.
